Parole eligibility.

A BILL

 

for

 

 1  AN ACT relating to parole; providing an exception to
 2  ineligibility for parole; and providing for an effective
 3  date.

 4 

 5  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

 6 

 7         Section 1.  W.S. 7-13-402(b)(ii) is amended to read:

 8 

 9         7-13-402.  General powers and duties of board;
10  eligibility for parole; immunity.

11 

12         (b)  A prisoner is not eligible for parole if he has:

13 

14              (ii)  Escaped, attempted to escape or assisted
15  others to escape from any institution. This paragraph shall
16  not apply to probationers who are placed in a community
17  correctional facility.
