A BILL
for
1 AN ACT relating to
alcoholic beverages and authorized
2
special malt beverage permit for the University of Wyoming;
3
amending the number of authorized dispensing room
4
locations; authorizing additional areas within the student
5
union where consumption may take place; sunsetting rules as
6
specified; and providing for an effective date.

8 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:
9
10 Section 1. W.S. 12-4-501(c)(i), (ii), (iii)(intro),
11 (iv), (v) and by creating a new
paragraph (vi) and by
12 renumbering (vi) as (vii) and by
creating a new subsection
13 (f) is amended to read:

limited.

5 (c) The board
of trustees of the University of
6
Wyoming shall provide rules and regulations for the
7
following:
8
9 (i) Location of
the dispensing room rooms in
10 which malt beverages may be sold;
11
12 (ii) Furnishings
and other features of the
13 dispensing room rooms;
14
15 (iii) The hours
and days of the operation of the
16 dispensing room rooms,
which shall be within the following
17 limits:

19 (iv) Whether
food may be sold in the dispensing
20 room rooms;
21
22 (v) A uniform
procedure of age identification
23 for all purchasers; and

1 (vi) Locations within the student union where
2 malt beverages may be consumed; and
3
4 (vi)(vii) Such other rules and regulations
5 necessary to carry out the purposes of
this section.

7 (f) Unless
specifically reauthorized by the
8 legislature prior to July 1, 2007,
rules and regulations
9 promulgated under subsection (c) of
this section prior to
10 July 1, 2007, shall on and after July 1, 2007, be null and
11 void and of no effect and shall not be enforceable.

13 Section 2. W.S. 12-4-501(d) is repealed.

15 Section
3. This act is effective
immediately upon
16 completion of all acts necessary for
a bill to become law
17 as provided by Article 4, Section 8
of the Wyoming
18 Constitution.
