ENROLLED ACT NO. 47, HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

FIFTY-SIXTH LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WYOMING

2001 GENERAL SESSION

AN ACT relating to mining operations; specifying
requirements for underground explosives magazines and
storage boxes; and providing for an effective date.

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

Section 1.  W.S. 30-2-605 by creating new subsections
(e) through (g) is amended to read:

30-2-605. Requirements as to underground magazines;
use of nonmetallic tools.

(e) Underground explosives magazines and storage
boxes shall be kept securely locked when unattended.

(f) Underground explosives magazines and storage
boxes shall be provided with signs indicating their
contents.

(g) Contents stored in magazines and storage boxes
pursuant to this section shall be inventoried at least once
a month and after each use.

Section 2. This act is effective July 1, 2001.
