A BILL
for
AN ACT relating to crimes and offenses; amending the penalty for the crime of interference with custody; and providing for an effective date.
Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:
Section 1. W.S. 6-2-204(e) is amended to read:
6-2-204. Interference with custody; presumption of knowledge of child's age; affirmative defenses; penalties.
(e) Interference
with custody which is not punishable under subsection (d) of this section is a felony misdemeanor
punishable by imprisonment for not more than one (1) year. and one (1) day.
Section 2. This act is effective July 1, 2002.
