Children in need of supervision-sunset.

A BILL

for

AN ACT relating to the Children in Need of Supervision Act; postponing repeal of the act as specified; conforming related provisions; and providing for an effective date.

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

Section 1.  1997 Wyoming Session Laws, Chapter 199, Sections 4 and 5 (as amended by 1998 Wyoming Session Laws, Chapter 9 and 1999 Wyoming Session Laws, Chapter 72) are amended to read:

Section 4.  Notwithstanding any other provision of this act, any disposition order issued under W.S. 14-6-429 which is entered prior to and is in effect on June 30, 20032005, shall remain in effect until modified or terminated by the court which issued the order.

Section 5.  W.S. 14-6-401 through 14-6-440 are repealed effective July 1, 20032005.

Section 2.  This act is effective July 1, 2002.
