Employee compensation commission membership.

A BILL
for
1 AN ACT relating to
administration of government; amending

membership on the state employee compensation commission;
3 and
providing for an effective date.

5 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

7 Section 1. W.S. 9-2-1019(e) is amended to read:
8
9 9-2-1019. Personnel hearings; state
employee
10 compensation commission created; duties.
11
12 (e) The
state employee compensation commission is
13 created to review issues related to employee
compensation.
14 The commission shall consist of not more than five (5)
15 members to serve two (2) year terms. Three
(3) members
16 shall be appointed by the management council
of the

legislature of whom one (1) shall be from the private
2
sector, and one (1) each from the senate and house of
3
representatives, and two (2) members shall be appointed by
4 the
governor, of whom one (1) shall be from the private
5
sector, and one (1) shall be a state
employee who is not in
6 a supervisory position. The commission shall elect a
7
chairman from among its members.

9 Section 2. This act is effective July 1, 2001.
