Severance tax distribution-de-earmarking.

A BILL

 

for

 

 1  AN ACT relating to taxation and revenue; increasing mineral
 2  severance taxes available for distribution under the de-
 3  earmarking process; and providing for an effective date.

 4 

 5  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

 6 

 7         Section 1.  W.S. 39-14-801(b) is amended to read:

 8 

 9         39-14-801.  Severance tax distributions; distribution
10  account created; formula.

11 

12         (b)  To the extent that deposits into the account
13  created under subsection (a) of this section exceed one
14  hundred fifty million dollars ($150,000,000.00) two hundred
15  million dollars ($200,000,000.00) in any fiscal year, the
16  excess shall be credited to the general fund.
