Radiologic technologist-exemption.

A BILL

 

for

 

 1  AN ACT relating to radiologic technologists; providing an
 2  exemption from radiologic technologist licensing
 3  requirements as specified; and providing for an effective
 4  date.

 5 

 6  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

 7 

 8         Section 1.  W.S. 33-37-102(d) by creating a new
 9  paragraph (iv) is amended to read:

10 

11         33-37-102.  Acceptable practices.

12 

13         (d)  This act does not apply to:

14 

15              (iv)  Medical assistants solely because they
16  perform dual X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) under the

 1  supervision of a person licensed to prescribe the
 2  examination.

 3 

 4         Section 2.  This act is effective immediately upon
 5  completion of all acts necessary for a bill to become law
 6  as provided by Article 4, Section 8 of the Wyoming
 7  Constitution.
