Mine inspector reports.

A BILL

 

for

 

 1  AN ACT relating to inspector of mines; modifying reporting
 2  dates as specified; and providing for an effective date.

 3 

 4  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

 5 

 6         Section 1.  W.S. 30-2-202(a)(ii)(intro) is amended to
 7  read:

 8 

 9         30-2-202.  Duties of inspector; duties of deputy
10  inspectors.

11 

12         (a)  The inspector shall:

13 

14              (ii)  Collect state mining statistics and report
15  to the governor under W.S. 9-2-1014. Notwithstanding W.S.
16  9-2-1014, the report to the governor required under this

 1  paragraph shall be filed each calendar year, reporting the
 2  programs and activities for the previous calendar year and
 3  including the statistics and recommendations concerning
 4  further mining legislation. Information necessary for the
 5  budget request of the office of inspector of miners shall
 6  be reported as required under W.S. 9-2-1014, together with
 7  the budget of the department of employment. The statistics
 8  in the report shall include for each mine:

10         Section 2.  This act is effective July 1, 2001.
