National historic trails center-appropriation.

A BILL
for
1 AN ACT relating to the
national historic trails center,
2
providing an appropriation; requiring matching funds;
3
providing for reversion of the funds as specified; and
4
providing for an effective date.

6 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

8 Section
1. There
is appropriated three hundred
9
thousand dollars ($300,000.00) from the general fund to the
10 department of commerce to contract
with the national
11 historic trails center in Natrona
county. This
12 appropriation shall not be expended
unless it is matched at
13 least dollar for dollar from
nonstate sources. All
14 maintenance, operation and
management of the center shall
15 be borne by the federal bureau of
land management (BLM) or
16 the national historic trails center
foundation. No state

1 funds or personnel shall
be used in the operation,
2
management or maintenance of the center. If matching funds
3
are not secured or committed by June 30, 2003, the amount
4
appropriated by this act shall revert to the budget reserve
5
account.

7 Section 2. This act is effective July 1, 2001.
