Coalbed methane-gathering line.

A BILL

 

for

 

 1  AN ACT relating to taxation and revenue; providing a
 2  definition for gathering for coalbed methane; and providing
 3  for an effective date.

 4 

 5  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

 6 

 7         Section 1.  W.S. 39-14-201(a)(ix) is amended to read:

 8 

 9         39-14-201.  Definitions.

11         (a)  As used in this article:

12 

13              (ix)  "Gathering" means the transportation of
14  crude oil, lease condensate or natural gas from multiple
15  wells by separate and individual pipelines to a central
16  point of accumulation, dehydration, compression,
17  separation, heating and treating or storage. For coalbed

 1  methane operations, any gas transmission line with a
 2  diameter less than twenty-four (24) inches and pressure
 3  less than one thousand (1,000) pounds per square inch (PSI)
 4  shall be considered a gathering line for the purposes of
 5  this article;

 6 

 7         Section 2.  This act is effective July 1, 2001.
