State lands-transfer to Guernsey State Park.

 1  AN ACT relating to state lands; directing that certain
 2  state lands be transferred to Guernsey State Park; and
 3  providing for an effective date.

 5  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

 6 

 7         Section 1.  W.S. 36-8-1202 is created to read:

 8 

 9                         ARTICLE 12

10                   GUERNSEY STATE PARK

11 

12         36-8-1202.  Addition of designated lands to Guernsey
13  State Park.

14 

15  The board of land commissioners is authorized and directed
16  to convey all of its right, title and interest, via quit

 1  claim deed, in the following described parcel of land to
 2  the department of state parks and cultural resources for
 3  inclusion into Guernsey State Park: That part of the S½SW¼
 4  and SW¼SE¼ of Section 27, NW¼NE¼ and NE¼NW¼ of Section 34,
 5  all in Township 27 North, Range 66 West of the 6th P.M.,
 6  Platte County, Wyoming, more particularly described as
 7  follows: Commencing at the southwest corner of said Section
 8  27 and considering the west line of the SW¼ thereof to bear
 9  North 01°32'27" West with all bearings herein being
10  relative thereto; Thence North 01°32'27" West, a distance
11  of 1,318.25 feet to the northwest corner of the S½SW¼ of
12  said Section 27; Thence South 89°56'55" East along the
13  north line of said S½SW¼, a distance of 796.38 feet to the
14  TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, said point being on the centerline
15  of the State Highway; Thence continuing South 89°56'55"
16  East, along said north line, a distance of 844.01 feet to a
17  point on the westerly right-of-way line of the Burlington
18  Northern Railroad; Thence southeasterly, along said
19  westerly right-of-way line, on the arc of a non-tangent
20  01°18'11" curve to the left, a distance of 2,532.97 feet
21  (said curve having a central angle of 33°00'09" and a long
22  chord that bears South 58°01'00" East, 2,498.09 feet), to a
23  point on the south line of said Section 27 from which point
24  the south quarter corner thereof bears West, 1,092.12 feet;

 1  Thence South 47°01'21" West, a distance of 1,727.95 feet to
 2  a point on the centerline of said State Highway; Thence
 3  North 39°43'15" West, along said centerline, a distance of
 4  1,499.31 feet; Thence on the arc of a 05°09'09" curve to
 5  the left, along said centerline, a distance of 37.14 feet
 6  (said curve having a central angle of 01°54'51" and a chord
 7  that bears North 41°38'51" West, 37.14 feet), to the south
 8  line of said Section 27, from which point the southwest
 9  corner thereof bears North 89°51'02" West, 1,476.81 feet;
10  Thence continuing along said centerline, on the arc of said
11  05°09'09" curve to the left, a distance of 200.04 feet
12  (said curve having a central angle of 10°18'25" and a chord
13  that bears North 47°45'36" West, 199.77 feet); Thence North
14  52°54'44" West, along said centerline a distance of 257.3
15  feet; Thence along said centerline on the arc of a
16  08°03'27" curve to the right, a distance of 547.31 feet
17  (said curve having a central angel of 44°06'00" and a long
18  chord that bears North 30°51'43" West, 533.91 feet); Thence
19  North 08°48'44" West, along said centerline, a distance of
20  580.0 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, containing 74.97
21  acres, more or less, and subject to any rights-of-way or
22  other easements as granted or reserved by instruments of
23  record or as now exist thereon. Subject to a 40 foot right-
24  of-way and easement along said State Highway.
