Child support limitation of actions.

A BILL

 

for

 

 1  AN ACT relating to child support; specifying a statute of
 2  limitation for enforcement of child support obligations;
 3  and providing for an effective date.

 4 

 5  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

 6 

 7         Section 1.  W.S. 20-4-176 by creating a new subsection
 8  (c) is amended to read:

 9 

10         20-4-176.  Choice of law.

11 

12         (c)  Except as provided in subsection (b) of this
13  section, an action to enforce a child support obligation in
14  this state may be brought no later than ten (10) years
15  after the child reaches the age of majority.
