A BILL

 

for

 

 1  AN ACT relating to improvement and service districts;
 2  granting the power of eminent domain to improvement and
 3  service districts; and providing for an effective date.

 4 

 5  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

 6 

 7         Section 1.  W.S. 18-12-112(a)(ix) is amended to read:

 8 

 9         18-12-112.  Powers of district.

10 

11         (a)  Each district may:

12 

13              (ix)  Acquire by condemnation as provided in the
14  Wyoming Eminent Domain Act, W.S. 1-26-502(a)(vi), or
15  otherwise and own or lease real or personal property,
16  including easements and rights-of-way, within or without
17  the district for district purposes;
