A BILL
for
1 AN ACT relating to
alcoholic beverages and authorized
2 special
malt beverage permit for the University of Wyoming;
3
amending the number of authorized dispensing room
4
locations; authorizing additional areas within the student
5
union where consumption may take place; and providing for
6 an
effective date.

8 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:
9
10 Section 1. W.S. 12-4-501(c)(i), (ii), (iii)(intro),
11 (iv), (v) and by creating a new
paragraph (vi) and by
12 renumbering (vi) as (vii) is amended
to read;

14 12-4-501. Malt beverage permit for
University of
15 Wyoming; fee; rules and regulations.

1 (c) The board
of trustees of the University of
2
Wyoming shall provide rules and regulations for the
3
following:
4
5 (i) Location of
the dispensing room rooms in
6
which malt beverages may be sold;
7
8 (ii) Furnishings
and other features of the
9
dispensing room rooms;
10
11 (iii) The hours
and days of the operation of the
12 dispensing room rooms, which shall be within the following
13 limits:
14
15 (iv) Whether
food may be sold in the dispensing
16 room rooms;
17
18 (v) A uniform
procedure of age identification
19 for all purchasers; and
20
21 (vi) Locations
within the student union where
22 malt
beverages may be consumed; and

1 (vi)(vii) Such other rules and regulations
2 necessary to carry out the purposes of
this section.

4 Section 2. W.S. 12-4-501(d) is repealed.
5
6 Section 3. This act is effective immediately upon
7
completion of all acts necessary for a bill to become law
8 as
provided by Article 4, Section 8 of the Wyoming
9
Constitution.
