A BILL

 

for

 

 1  AN ACT relating to motor vehicle license plates;
 2  authorizing the surviving spouse of a Pearl Harbor survivor
 3  to apply for and receive special license plates as
 4  specified; and providing for an effective date.

 5 

 6  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

 7 

 8         Section 1.  W.S. 31-2-217(e)(ii) by creating a new
 9  subparagraph (D) is amended to read:

10 

11         31-2-217.  Special plates; Pearl Harbor survivors;
12  national guard members; purple heart recipients.

13 

14         (e)  Any person who is a Wyoming resident at the time
15  of application may apply under this section for:

 1              (ii)  A Pearl Harbor survivor license plate if he
 2  presents documentation that he:

 3 

 4                   (D)  Is the surviving spouse of a deceased
 5  survivor of Pearl Harbor otherwise complying with
 6  subparagraphs (A) through (C) of this paragraph.

 7 

 8         Section 2.  This act is effective immediately upon
 9  completion of all acts necessary for a bill to become law
10  as provided by Article 4, Section 8 of the Wyoming
11  Constitution.
