AN ACT relating to the Medical Assistance and Services Act; amending eligibility criteria for individuals seeking to purchase coverage under the work incentives improvement option to Medicaid; repealing inconsistent and unnecessary provisions; and providing for an effective date.

                "Section 3.  On or before October 1, 2003, the department of health shall report to the joint labor, health and social services interim committee on participation in services available under the Medicaid buy-in waiver pursuant to W.S. 42‑4‑115 and on the administrative costs to implement the waiver.  The report shall include any recommendations of the department for improving the effectiveness of the waiver.

                Section 4.  Notwithstanding previously enacted repealers, effective July 1, 2006, W.S. 42‑4‑115 and 42‑4‑116 are repealed.". SCOTT, CHAIRMAN
