Management Council Meeting Summary (December 2, 2002)

The Management Council met in Cheyenne on December 2, 2002.  The Council discussed the proper role of the Legislature in reviewing administrative rules.  The Council reviewed several design concepts that are being considered for a logo for the Legislature.  The Council considered and adopted changes to the laptop computer policy.  Council members adopted a tentative 37-day schedule for the upcoming 2003 General Session and considered proposed rule changes for the session. 

 

The Council considered the current policy governing the constituent service allowance and the reimbursement procedures.  The Council voted to retain the current policy.  The Council requested that representatives from the Department of Family Services attend the next Council meeting and explain the changes to the daycare and school-age requirements.  The Council received an update regarding the work of the Select Committee on Legislative Facilities.  The Council approved expenditures to complete the placing of historic photographs in committee rooms and in Room 302.  The Council also met in executive session to consider LSO staff issues.
