Source of revenue increase and assumptions:
The main assumption made in estimating the fiscal impact for the State Boxing Commission is that there would be one exhibition per county (23) per month (12).
Boxing License Fee: $10 per exhibition x 4 fights per exhibition x 1 per county (23) per month (12). $10 x 4 x 1 x 23 x 12 = $11,040
Boxing Admission Fee Tax 5%: $10 x 50 people per exhibition x 1 exhibition per month (12) per county (23) x 5%. $10 x 50 x 1 x 12 x 23 x 5% = $6,900
Referees Fee: $10 per referee, 4 referees per county (23) per year.
$10 x 4 x 23 = $920
Revenue is projected to remain constant for FY 2004, 2005, and 2006.
