Source of revenue decrease:

County administration fee for collecting motor vehicle registration fees.

Assumptions:

1. County administration fee would be 3 percent of state vehicle registration fees collected under W.S. 31-3-101(a)(ii).

2. The above estimates are based on calendar year 2001 vehicle registration fees. Assumed vehicle registration fees would remain constant.

This bill also applies the 0.5 percent county administration fee in W.S. 39-13-111 to special districts. This change would not have a significant impact at the state level, but would decrease revenues to special districts. This decrease is estimated at $235,000 per year.
