Joint Minerals Committee Meeting Summary (August 27, 2003)

The Joint Minerals, Business and Economic Development Committee met August 27, 2003 in Cheyenne.  The Committee received information on the national pollution discharge elimination system (NPDES) permitting process, a gender wage disparity study, studies on air service in the state, operations of the tourism board, electric transmission regional planning, and enhanced oil recovery.  Final reports are being prepared on the air services and NPDES issues.  The Committee will meet again November 19-20, 2003 in Casper.
