Repeal of the excise tax on railroad freight transportation.

 

Assumptions:

 

This tax was to be deposited into an account within the Highway Fund to be allocated and expended for railroad grade separation facilities.

 

It is estimated that this excise tax would have collected an estimated $1.5 million per year.
