This bill would create a property tax exemption for property owned by conservation districts formed pursuant to W.S. 11-16-101 through 11-16-134.

Conservation districts paid a total of approximately $2,300 in property taxes to counties in 2003. Assuming this level remains constant, this bill would result in a total revenue decrease to the counties of approximately $2,300 per year for fiscal years 2005-2007.
