State contribution to group insurance plan for retirees

 

Assumptions:

 

All current rates are in excess of $200 per month base contribution for retirees.

 

The above estimates are based on initial enrollment of 2,171 retirees with health insurance.

 

The above estimates assume that enrollment levels would increase by 10% each year with the $200 employer contribution.

 

It is estimated that enrollment would decrease by approximately 4% without state contribution.

 

The above estimates include all retirees (state, judicial, LSO, University of Wyoming and community college).
