This bill contains an appropriation of $10,000,000 from the GENERAL FUND to the State Treasurer.

 

This bill creates the university athletics challenge account. The $10 million appropriation shall be deposited into this new account.

 

The State Treasurer will match qualifying contributions actually received by the University of Wyoming foundation from the funds available in the university athletics challenge account. This match shall be paid by the State Treasurer at the time the accumulated amounts received total at least $25,000.

 

This bill is effective immediately. Any unexpended funds from the amount appropriated shall revert to General Fund on December 31, 2008.
