Anticipated Expenditure Increase:
GENERAL FUND	775,000	790,500	806,310

 

Source of Expenditure Increase: These expenditures will be in the 600 series object code: grants and aid payments.  Mandated review within child protection placement cases by the juvenile court and expanding opportunities to continued services beyond the age of eighteen (18) years is projected to require an annual amount of $775,000.  This projected increase is based upon the number of children in placement at age 18 and the amount of funds expended between their 17^th and 18^th birthdays.  The number of children over 18 years impacted by court ordered placement is projected to be 45.

 

Assumptions: A two percent (2%) increase for inflation has been added to years 2006 and 2007.

 

 

Revenue increases based upon the imposition of supervision fees to be paid by participants are indeterminable at this time and rule promulgation will be necessary to determine the amount. 

 

 

The fiscal impact to the judicial system is indeterminable due to an unknown number of cases.

 

 

This bill has administrative impact that appears to increase (or decrease) duties or responsibilities of one or more state agencies and may impact agency spending or staffing requirements. As introduced, the bill does not modify any state agency budget or current personnel authorizations.
