This bill contains an appropriation of $10,000,000 from the BUDGET RESERVE ACCOUNT to the Wyoming Military Assistance Trust Fund.

Source of revenue increase: Investment income from the $10 million appropriated to the Military Assistance Trust Fund.

 

Assumptions:

 

Interest from the Military Assistance Trust Fund corpus will be annually credited to a separate account within the trust and agency fund.

 

The above estimates assume the Military Assistance Trust Fund will be invested in the State Agency Pool, and assume annual rates of return of 4.4% in FY05, 4.6% in FY06, and 4.8% in FY07, based on January 2004 CREG projections.

Assumptions:

 

It is assumed that investment income from the Military Assistance Trust Fund would be available for expenditure from the Trust and Agency Fund in the following fiscal year.

 

The above estimates assume all investment income would be distributed annually by the adjutant general, in accordance with the language proposed in W.S. 19-7-402.
