This bill contains an authorization of 1 Full-Time position.
The Department of Administration and Information (DA&I) indicated that the fiscal impact of this bill with regard to State Building Commission is unknown, without knowing more information on the intent of this bill. The Governor’s Office, Secretary of State, Auditor’s Office, Treasurer’s Office and Department of Education provided no estimates of fiscal impact.
Included in the Governor’s recommended budget for the General Services Division of DA&I is a request to transfer and upgrade 4 vacant positions to create a Capital Construction Management Section. These 4 positions have a current budget authorization of $344,702, with an additional funding request of $331,298. This new section would provide data analysis on capital outlay requests. This budget request is described below:
