Subject:  Transferring the civil air patrol from the department of transportation to the military department.

 

 

Summary/Major Elements:

 

·        Under current law, the civil air patrol is placed under the department of transportation by W.S. 10-3-501 through 10-3-503.

 

·        This bill transfers the civil air patrol to the military department by creating W.S. 19-15-101 through 19-15-103 and repealing W.S. 10-3-501 through 10-3-503.  A noncodified section also transfers all supplies and funds dedicated for the purposes of the civil air patrol to the military department.
