Catch Title:       Radiological technologist licensing.

 

Subject:  Provides extensive amendments to the radiologic technologists licensure program.

 

Summary/Major Elements:

 

·        Increases the membership of the board of radiologic technologists examiners from 3 members to 5 members.

 

·        Amends the testing process for licensure.

 

·        Requires continuing education (24 credit hours per 2 year licensure period for radiologic technologists; 6 credit hours per 2 year licensure period for radiologic technicians).

 

·        Authorizes the board to censure or place on probation or have a person's license revoked, suspended or restricted, or both, for violation of the act.
