Summary/Major Elements:

 

This act:

 

Amends temporary light duty ("TLD") benefit to 80% of the difference between pre-injury wage and light duty wage;

 

Extends TLD period to one year for any one injury;

 

Makes the TLD benefit non-chargeable to the employer's claims experience rating;

 

•  Clarifies TLD procedural requirements.
