Catch Title:       Unemployment compensation-noncharged benefits.

 

Subject:  Makes specified unemployment compensation benefits non-chargeable to the employer's account.

 

Summary/Major Elements:

 

This act:

 

     •  Creates an exception to the charging of unemployment benefits to an employer's account for benefits that are paid to an employee terminated because a member of the uniformed services returns to claim his job after completion of military service;

 

     •  Allows an employer to administratively seek relief from benefit charges under the above circumstances.
