Title: County commissioner salaries.
Subject: Amending provision
relating to county commissioners salaries.
Summary/Major
Elements:
·
Specifies that Boards of County Commissioners have authority to set the
salary of county commissioners at no more than the lowest compensation paid any
elected officer in the same county who serves full-time as specified in W.S.
18-3-106.
·
Prior law did not include the qualification of full-time, thus county
commissioner salaries had been limited to the lowest compensation paid to
elected officials even if those officials were serving only part-time.
