Catch Title: Tobacco settlement amendments.

Subject: Amends provisions regarding escrow funds required of non-participating tobacco manufacturers.

Summary/Major Elements:

This act implements a change negotiated to the master settlement agreement between the state and leading United States tobacco product manufacturers. The change clarifies that the calculation of the escrow required from some manufacturers is based upon sales of all cigarettes and bulk tobacco in the state.
