Summary/Major Elements:

 

·        Creates a select legislative committee of three members from each house to study roles of the state treasurer, auditor, superintendent of public instruction and secretary of state in state government including:

 

o       Constitutional and statutory duties;

 

o       Legal representation of the offices;

 

o       Budgetary oversight of the offices;

 

o       Staffing of offices and boards on which the officials serve.
