Summary/Major
Elements:

Transfers management of the Wyoming territorial prison state park and historic
site from the single management group provided for under current law to the
department of state parks and cultural resources.

The department is given authority to negotiate to terminate existing
leases and contracts which provide for management by any entity other than the
department.
·
Conforming changes, such as fees for park admittance, special events at
the park, and use of fees are made.
·
The transfer is to be completed by April 30, 2005.
Comments:
· Report required – the department of state parks and cultural resources is required to report to the joint travel, recreation, wildlife and cultural resources interim committee by September 1, 2004.
