Summary/Major
Elements:

Makes changes to the election code to conform with requirements of the
federal Help America Vote Act. Those changes
relate primarily to registration and identification issues. Specifies the types of identification

agreements to access felony conviction and other records held by state agencies
in order to verify eligibility of voters.

under the federal Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act.

Provides for provisional ballots for a person who lacks the required

the proof of eligibility to register and vote.

the voter is unmistakable.
