Catch Title:       Child support orders-confidentiality of information.

 

Subject:  Amends contents of child support orders as specified;

 

Summary/Major Elements:

 

·        Current law specifies what information is required to be on all child support orders and requires a separate, confidential statement containing the names, addresses, social security numbers of the parties and other specified information.

 

·        This bill:

 

·        Would amend the information on the order and the separate statement by requiring only the social security numbers of each party and each child to remain confidential, with all other information to be on the child support order;

 

·        Retains the provisions that allow inspection of the confidential information for specified purposes.

 

·        Clarifies that "party", for purposes of W.S. 20-2-309, does not include the Department of Family Services.
