AN ACT relating to a statewide education data system; establishing a statewide education data system enabling data accessing and sharing between school districts and the state; creating an education data management center within the department of education and prescribing duties and responsibilities; delegating rulemaking authority; establishing a student performance data system within the statewide education data system capable of tracking student performance as specified; providing for system advisory groups; providing appropriations and authorizing positions; and providing for an effective date.
