Cheyenne - Senator John Hanes and Representative Colin Simpson, Cochairmen, Joint Judiciary Interim Committee and Senator Charles K. Scott and Representative Doug Osborn, Cochairmen, Joint Labor, Health and Social Services Interim Committee, have announced the Committees will meet jointly:

June 22 and 23, 2004

Cheyenne, Wyoming

The purpose of these meetings is consider the following medical malpractice insurance issues for purposes of the special session scheduled for July 12, 2004:

Constitutional amendments

Judicial reform

Statutes addressing caps on damages

State risk pools for physicians

Improvements in health care

Alternative dispute resolution

An agenda will be sent at a later date.
