Topic #1:            Court Ordered Placements.

The scope of this study will be crafted to complement work being undertaken in connection with provisions of SF 80 (concerning education costs of children in residential treatment) and of HB 33 (concerning the children and families initiative).  The Management Audit Committee study will provide basic information about the history of efforts to fund and manage these  placements.  It will also review court ordered placement studies since 1979 and analyze several of the public policy options consistently identified in them.
