AN ACT relating to school teachers; specifying legislative findings pertaining to teacher shortage

areas; establishing a teacher incentive program providing incentive payments to newly certified

teachers in mathematics and science; delegating program administration to the Wyoming higher

education assistance authority; granting rulemaking authority; imposing criteria and requiring

contractual agreements for program participation; imposing duties upon the Wyoming professional

teaching standards board; directing continued study of teacher shortage areas and program

continuation; providing an appropriation; and providing for an effective date.
