AN ACT relating to the attorney general; providing for the appointment of the attorney general by

the five elected state officials; repealing provision for interim appointment; amending certain

provisions regarding actions taken by the attorney general pursuant to the direction of the

governor; making conforming amendments; and providing for an effective date.
