Classroom Field Monitor Information

To determine what interventions are used during the legislator’s visit to the classroom, field monitors will accompany legislators during their classroom visits to intervention classrooms. The field monitor will accompany the legislator to the classroom on the day of the legislator’s visit for intervention classes only. Field monitors will not visit control classrooms during the legislator’s visit. The field monitor will fill out an observation form during the legislator’s visit to the classroom to document the activities that take place during the classroom visit. The field monitor will not participate in the activities, but is there as an objective observer. Field monitors should read the instructions on the left-hand side of the page and can download the observation form to complete for each classroom visit on the left-hand side of the page.
