FISCAL NOTE

The fiscal impact is indeterminable.

The changes made by the bill restructure some aspects of telecom regulation in Wyoming, remove a number of provisions which have become outdated or which have already been accomplished [e.g., TSLRIC pricing, which is already in place], and redefine the Public Service  Commission’s role in other instances.  The PSC cannot estimate what changes in telecommunications pricing, service or markets and the Wyoming Universal Service Fund, might occur later as this revised telecom law takes effect.
