Assumptions:
Assumes annual expenditures of $400 per person, times 15,883 individuals in FY07, inflated by three percent per year.
Estimate is based on survey of Wyoming podiatrists and calculated based on all medically necessary services for International Classification of Diseases, 9th revision (ICD-9) diagnoses codes per Blue Cross/Blue Shield Florida Foot Care Services "ICD-9 Diagnoses Codes that Support Medical Necessity."
Federal Medicaid match rate of 52.31 percent is assumed throughout.
