Grants to law enforcement agencies in the state for D.A.R.E. training.
Assumptions:
Expenditures for the D.A.R.E. in Wyoming are based upon three areas – training and program development and support. Training is broken down into new D.A.R.E. officer training, mandatory updates, high school curriculum, and school resource officer/middle school curriculum training. The projected amount for training during FY07-08 is $91,000. The second area of program development and support will be for student incentives, special programs, and workbooks totaling $100,000 for the biennium.

This bill has administrative impact that appears to increase (or decrease) duties or responsibilities of one or more state agencies and may impact agency spending or staffing requirements. As introduced, the bill modifies the Department of Health's budget. The following state agencies will be asked to provide their estimate of the administrative fiscal impact prior to the first committee meeting held to consider the bill:
