FISCAL NOTE

The revenue increase to the Department of Parks and Cultural Resources would be indeterminable.

Source of Revenue Increase:

The source of the money for the Enterprise Fund (W.S. 36-4-121) are the entrance and camping fees collected statewide at the various state parks and historic sites.  With the inclusion of the Upper North Crow Reservoir within the boundaries of Curt Gowdy State Park, entrance and eventually camping fees will be collected at this additional (new) location.  The amount of new revenue that will be collected is unknown due to the fact there are no known visitor counts at Upper North Crow making it impossible to accurately estimate the amount of revenue this site will generate.

Assumptions:

The Department of Parks and Cultural Resources is declaring the revenue increase as unknown as there is no visitation data (number of people who visit this site annually) available for this location and therefore it is impossible to forecast the amount of revenue that could potentially be collected.
