GENERAL FUND

64,300

34,300

44,300

Source of revenue decrease:

Changes in private school licensing fees

Assumptions:

The above revenue decrease is based on the following assumptions pertaining to private school licensing:

1.     Elimination of the five-year renewal fee of $10,000 results in a revenue decrease of $50,000 in FY 2007, $20,000 in FY 2008, and $30,000 in FY 2009.

2.     Ten of the current license holders currently paying an annual fee of $2,500 will now apply for accreditation, and will pay an annual registration fee of $1,000. This will result in a revenue decrease of $15,000 per year.

3.     Seven accredited schools will now pay an annual registration fee of $100. This will result in a revenue increase of $700 per year.
