AN ACT relating to long term care and the Wyoming Medical Assistance and Services Act (Medicaid); modifying the Medicaid reimbursement formulas for nursing homes and other long term care facilities; modifying limitations on new nursing home construction; expanding the Medicaid home and community based waiver program; regulating the entry of people into long term care; providing consultation to help individuals and their families understand their long term care options; authorizing application to the federal government for Medicaid program long term care waivers; authorizing and regulating an adult foster home care system; authorizing an alternative eldercare long term care pilot program; encouraging expanded use of hospice care; granting rulemaking authority; providing appropriations; authorizing positions; and providing for an effective date.
